Christoph Funke
Lupin Limited, has announced the appointment of Christoph Funke to the newly established role of Chief Technical Operations Officer.
With more than 30 years of experience in global pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain management, and technical operations, Christoph will be based in Mumbai and will lead Lupin’s Technical Operations, overseeing manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement functions.
Christoph brings extensive leadership experience from prominent pharmaceutical organizations such as Fresenius Kabi and Strides Pharma Science, where he managed large-scale technical operations across 27 sites in 19 countries. His oversight included production valued at over USD 2 billion, while leading teams of more than 12,500 employees. Christoph holds an engineering degree from South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
Lupin’s CEO, Vinita Gupta, and Managing Director, Nilesh Gupta, expressed their enthusiasm for the appointment, stating, “We are excited to welcome Christoph to our executive leadership team.
