Bret DiMarco
Agilent Technologies, Inc. has appointed Bret DiMarco as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, as well as Corporate Secretary, to lead the company’s global legal organization.

"His extensive tactical and strategic experience across diverse industries will enhance our focus on customers and agility, helping Agilent continue to thrive in the marketplace and deliver value to both customers and shareholders."
Before joining Agilent, DiMarco served as Chief Legal Officer at Pendo.io, a global venture-backed SaaS company. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary at Coherent Inc., where he led legal matters, intellectual property management, and global trade compliance. DiMarco also played a key role in Coherent's merger with II-VI Incorporated.
DiMarco’s earlier career includes being an associate at the international law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he specialized in corporate and securities law. He has also been actively involved with Nasdaq councils and has been an adjunct assistant professor of law at the University of California Law School, San Francisco since 2004.
DiMarco holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine.
