Rahul Srinivasan
Grifols has announced the appointment of Rahul Srinivasan as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
In his new role, Srinivasan will oversee Grifols' entire financial operations, including financial planning, treasury, tax, reporting, investor relations, and sustainability. He will also be tasked with driving cash-flow strategies and managing the company’s debt. Srinivasan succeeds Alfredo Arroyo, who is retiring after 17 years of service and key contributions to Grifols' growth.
“We are excited to welcome Rahul to the Grifols team,” said Nacho Abia, Grifols' CEO. “His extensive expertise in corporate finance and his impressive experience in capital markets will be vital as we move into our next phase of growth. Rahul’s leadership and performance-driven mindset will be a tremendous asset to the company.”
With over 25 years of experience in financial services, Srinivasan has held leadership roles at KPMG, Credit Suisse, and Bank of America, working across audit, mergers and acquisitions, transaction services, and capital markets. Most recently, he served as Head of EMEA Leveraged Finance and Capital Markets at Bank of America, where he achieved significant revenue growth.
“I am excited to join Grifols and collaborate with Nacho, the senior management team, and the Board at such a pivotal time for the company," said Srinivasan. "Grifols' life-changing medicines across various therapeutic areas have made a remarkable difference, and I look forward to contributing to the next chapter of this great institution."
Srinivasan will officially step into his role on September 16, 2024, with a transition period alongside Alfredo Arroyo to ensure a seamless handover of responsibilities.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), holds a degree in Business Mathematics and Statistics from The London School of Economics, and earned an Executive MBA from the ENPC School of International Management in Paris.
