David M. Weiner
Dr. Weiner, who previously served as Interim CMO at Chemomab from 2021 to 2022 and has remained a consultant since, brings over 30 years of experience in therapeutic discovery and development. He currently serves as Chief Scientific Officer and Director at AxoSim, Inc., and is also a Board Member at Bright Minds Biosciences and Novoron Bioscience. His past leadership roles include CEO at Amathus Therapeutics and CMO positions at Lumos Pharma, aTyr Pharma, and Proteostasis Therapeutics. Dr. Weiner holds an M.D. from SUNY Buffalo and is a former Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Scholar. He has authored over 30 scientific publications and holds several patents.
Jack Lawler brings 25 years of experience in clinical drug development, including contributions to eight approved therapies across diverse therapeutic areas. Before joining Chemomab in 2022, he held senior leadership roles at Goldfinch Bio, Cephalon, Trevena, Viropharma, Botanix, and Egalet. His work has supported the development of well-known products such as Cinqair®, Provigil®, and Nuvigil®. Mr. Lawler earned his B.S. summa cum laude from Rosemont College and began his career in emergency and transplant medicine.
