Anne-Françoise Nesmes
Sanofi’s Board of Directors has announced the proposal for the appointment of Clotilde Delbos, Anne-Françoise Nesmes, and John Sundy as independent Directors. Additionally, the Board will recommend the renewal of the terms of office for Rachel Duan and Lise Kingo.
Diane Souza, who serves on the Audit and Compensation Committees, and Thomas Südhof, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, will conclude their terms at the end of their second tenure. The Chairman expressed gratitude for their valuable contributions to the Board and its specialized committees.
Anne-Françoise Nesmes is the Chief Financial Officer of Smith + Nephew PLC, a position she will leave at the end of Q1 2024. Since 2018, she has been a non-executive director on the Board of Compass Group PLC, serving as Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee. With a background in finance at international firms, she spent 16 years at GlaxoSmithKline PLC, including as Senior Vice President of Finance for global vaccines. Anne-Françoise Nesmes holds a Master’s degree from Grenoble Business School and an MBA from Henley Management College, and she is a Chartered Management Accountant.
