Dr. Elisabeth Leiderman
Prilenia Therapeutics has appointed Dr. Elisabeth “Lis” Leiderman as Chief Financial Officer, further strengthening the company’s leadership team as it advances therapies for Huntington’s disease (HD) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
The biopharmaceutical company stated that Dr. Leiderman will help guide financial strategy and corporate development initiatives as Prilenia continues to expand its clinical and business operations.
Dr. Leiderman brings more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning finance, corporate development, and investment banking within the life sciences industry. Throughout her career, she has held CFO positions at several biotechnology companies, including Dewpoint Therapeutics, Atsena Therapeutics, and Decibel Therapeutics, where she led significant fundraising initiatives, strategic transactions, and public offerings.
In addition to her operational leadership, Dr. Leiderman has extensive board-level experience in both public and private companies. She currently serves on the board of Autolus Therapeutics and previously served on the board of bluebird bio. Earlier in her career, she held senior investment banking roles at UBS, Credit Suisse, and Nomura, where she co-founded the firm’s U.S. healthcare investment banking group.
Dr. Leiderman earned her MD with honors from Tel Aviv University, an MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Neuroscience from University of Pennsylvania.
