Carolyn Bonner
Medicus Pharma Ltd., a precision-guided biotechnology and life sciences company advancing the clinical development of novel and potentially disruptive therapeutic assets, has appointed Carolyn Bonner as Chief Financial Officer, in addition to her current role as President.
Ms. Bonner has been serving as Acting Chief Financial Officer since September 12, 2025, alongside her responsibilities as President, ensuring continuity and stability during the medical leave of former CFO Jim Quinlan. Mr. Quinlan has now formally resigned for health-related reasons. The appointment reflects the Board’s confidence in Ms. Bonner’s leadership and deep understanding of the company’s operations and strategic priorities.
Ms. Bonner brings nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare and life sciences sector, with a background spanning executive leadership, corporate development, operations, and capital markets engagement. Prior to joining Medicus Pharma, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of PCL, Inc., a CAP-accredited specialty laboratory with operations in the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Bonner held business development and corporate development roles at Rosetta Genomics Ltd., a Nasdaq-listed molecular diagnostics company, and Inform Diagnostics, Inc. (formerly Lakewood Pathology), where she began her professional career in 2006. Her experience across diagnostics, laboratory operations, and public company environments provides a strong foundation for her expanded leadership role at Medicus.
As President and Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Bonner will oversee financial reporting and internal controls, capital markets strategy, budgeting and forecasting, and treasury operations. She will also continue to lead strategic planning and cross-functional coordination across the company’s clinical development and corporate initiatives, supporting Medicus Pharma’s continued growth and advancement of its therapeutic pipeline.
