Paul Edick
Vistagen, a late clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company advancing nose-to-brain neurocircuitry science through its innovative pherine-based intranasal therapies, has appointed Paul Edick to its Board of Directors.
With his addition, Vistagen’s Board will now consist of seven members, and Mr. Edick will serve on both the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee.
Mr. Edick is a highly accomplished pharmaceutical industry leader with extensive experience in executive management, corporate strategy, and commercialization. He most recently served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Xeris Pharmaceuticals from 2017 until his retirement in August 2024, after which he transitioned into a senior advisory role with the company.
Before his tenure at Xeris, Mr. Edick was the Founding Partner of 3G Advisors, a consultancy serving the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and healthcare investment sectors. From 2010 to 2014, he was the CEO of Durata Therapeutics, leading the company through significant growth and its eventual acquisition by Actavis PLC (now Allergan PLC).
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Ganic Pharmaceuticals and MedPointe Healthcare, further strengthening his track record in pharmaceutical development and commercialization.
Mr. Edick also brings extensive board governance experience, having served on numerous boards including Milestone Pharmaceuticals, Iterum Therapeutics, Durata Therapeutics, PDL BioPharma, Neos Therapeutics, NewLink Genetics, Circassia Pharmaceuticals, Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Life Cycle Pharma, Amerita, and Informed Medical Communications.
His appointment reinforces Vistagen’s commitment to strong leadership and strategic growth as it continues to advance its pherine-based neuroscience programs aimed at transforming the treatment of anxiety, depression, and other neuropsychiatric disorders.
