Daniel J. Anderson

Integrated Biosciences, a biotechnology company integrating synthetic biology, chemistry, and artificial intelligence to discover small-molecule therapeutics for age-related diseases, has appointed Daniel (Dan) J. Anderson, Ph.D., as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO). 

In this role, Dr. Anderson will lead the company’s scientific strategy and pipeline development, building on Integrated Biosciences’ proprietary discovery platform.

Dr. Anderson joins Integrated Biosciences from Eikon Therapeutics, where he served as Chief Scientific Officer and led discovery and translational research efforts across the organization. At Eikon, he managed a multidisciplinary team of approximately 130 scientists and helped advance multiple programs toward clinical development. Prior to Eikon, he was Vice President of Biology at Recursion Pharmaceuticals and earlier led biology at Cleave Biosciences. He began his industry career at Genentech.

Since earning his Ph.D. in cell biology and biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Anderson has focused on applying advanced technologies and data-driven approaches to drug discovery. Over the course of his career, he has advanced ten therapeutic programs into the clinic and authored more than 25 peer-reviewed publications in leading scientific journals, including Nature and Science.

In conjunction with this appointment, Max Wilson, Ph.D., Co-Founder of Integrated Biosciences, has assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this capacity, Dr. Wilson will focus on advancing the company’s core technology platform, including next-generation AI-enabled discovery systems and high-throughput biological screening capabilities.

The Integrated Biosciences leadership team now includes Felix Wong, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer; Daniel J. Anderson, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer; Max Wilson, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer; and Zuzanna Brzosko, Ph.D., Chief Business Officer.
