Dr. Jeffrey Sevigny
Rapport Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on discovering and developing small molecule precision medicines for central nervous system (CNS) disorders, appointed Dr. Jeffrey Sevigny as Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
Dr. Sevigny is a physician-scientist with over 15 years of experience in translational and clinical drug development, particularly within neuroscience and rare diseases.
Dr. Sevigny brings a wealth of expertise spanning the entire drug development process, from discovery through late-stage clinical trials and regulatory approval. He has a proven track record in portfolio development and has built and led high-performing teams across various therapeutic areas. His most recent role was as CMO at Prevail Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Eli Lilly, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s clinical development strategy and led the successful IPO and acquisition by Eli Lilly.
Prior to his tenure at Prevail, Dr. Sevigny held senior leadership positions at leading pharmaceutical companies, including Eli Lilly, F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Biogen, Novartis, and Merck, where he contributed significantly to neuroscience R&D. He has also served in academic roles at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and Columbia University.
As CMO at Rapport Therapeutics, Dr. Sevigny will oversee the company’s clinical strategy and lead the advancement of its pipeline, including the RAP-219 program, which leverages the company’s proprietary receptor associated protein (RAP) science. His experience in steering clinical programs through late-stage trials and regulatory approval will be critical in progressing Rapport’s pipeline of precision medicines.
