Dale Gordon
Abselion, a pioneering life sciences technology company focused on simplifying biomolecule quantification, has appointed Dale Gordon as Chair of its Board of Directors.
His appointment enhances Abselion’s board-level expertise in commercial strategy and bioprocessing as the company continues to expand internationally, including the recent establishment of its US subsidiary and growing global adoption of its Amperia™ protein quantification system.
As Chair, Dale Gordon will support Abselion’s governance framework and long-term strategic direction, ensuring sustainable growth and value creation for academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical partners working across biologics characterization, development, and manufacturing workflows.
Dale brings more than 30 years of experience in the life sciences industry, with deep expertise spanning bioprocessing, leadership, and company scaling. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Mirus Bio, a leading provider of transfection technologies used in viral vector production, where he guided the company through a phase of strong growth and strategic expansion.
He has also held CEO roles at Gemini Bio and senior leadership positions at GE Life Sciences (now Cytiva) and Merck Millipore. Across his career, he has worked extensively with growth-stage life sciences companies, supporting the transition of technologies from early adoption to large-scale commercial deployment.
Dale succeeds Simon Douglas, who steps down after serving as Chair of the Board for over four years.
