Bristol Myers Squibb Names Guy Oliver as General Manager for UK and Ireland

Bristol Myers Squibb is pleased to announce the appointment of Guy Oliver as the new General Manager for its UK and Ireland operations.

In this role, Guy will lead the commercial affiliate during a transformative phase, focusing on expanding the company’s product portfolio to advance its mission of helping patients overcome serious diseases. Guy will also serve on the European Markets Leadership Team, reporting directly to Monica Shaw, Senior Vice President and Head of European Markets.

Guy Oliver brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as General Manager for Ipsen UK and Ireland. Prior to Ipsen, he spent 16 years at Novartis, where he held various senior leadership roles across multiple functions and regions. His background includes significant expertise in therapeutic areas such as oncology, hematology, immunology, cardiovascular, and neuroscience. He holds degrees in Pharmacology and Pharmacy and began his career as a Pharmacist in New Zealand, later serving as a Clinical Pharmacist at Guy’s Hospital in London before transitioning into the pharmaceutical industry.
