Jack E. Stover
TransCode Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing immuno-oncology and RNA-based therapies for the treatment of high-risk and advanced cancers, has appointed Jack E. Stover to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Stover will serve on the Audit Committee and the Nominating Committee, as Dr. Magda Marquet steps down from the Audit Committee.
Mr. Stover brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience across both public and private life sciences companies, with deep expertise spanning drug development, molecular diagnostics, specialty pharmaceuticals, and capital formation. His extensive background in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and financial strategy will add significant value to TransCode’s Board as the company continues to advance its clinical programs.
Currently, Mr. Stover serves as Chairman of the Board of Traws Pharma Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on antiviral and oncology therapies. He previously led the merger of Traws Pharma with Onconova Therapeutics Inc. and has served as a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Onconova since 2016. From March 2021 to July 2025, Mr. Stover was Chief Executive Officer and Director of NorthView Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company, and subsequently became a director of Profusa, Inc., a digital health company developing tissue-integrated biosensors following its merger with NorthView.
Earlier, Mr. Stover served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Interpace Biosciences, Inc. from 2016 to 2020, where he led strategic acquisitions and multiple successful financings. From 2004 to 2008, he was CEO and Director of Antares Pharma, Inc., guiding its growth and eventual acquisition by Halozyme for over US$900 million. He began his career as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading the firm’s life sciences practice in the Mid-Atlantic region.
