Ability Biotherapeutics, a biotechnology company developing logic-gated antibody therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases, has appointed Angèle Maki, PhD, as Chief Business Officer.

In this role, Dr. Maki will lead the company’s business development and partnering strategy as Ability advances its innovative pipeline toward clinical development.

Dr. Maki brings more than 20 years of experience across the biopharmaceutical industry, with deep expertise in business development, licensing, and corporate venture activities. The company is open to collaborations supporting both pipeline program development and de novo therapeutic discovery. Dr. Maki, along with members of the Ability leadership team, will participate in the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in January 2026 and welcomes discussions with potential partners and investors to further expand the company’s development and commercialization opportunities.
