David H. Deming
Phio Pharmaceuticals Corp., a clinical-stage siRNA biopharmaceutical company developing therapeutics through its proprietary INTASYL® gene silencing technology to eliminate cancer, has appointed David H. Deming as Lead Independent Director of its Board of Directors.
Mr. Deming brings more than 30 years of experience in investment banking and asset management to the role. He spent 27 years at JP Morgan, where he held senior leadership positions in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and served as Head of the Health Group in investment banking for his final 12 years at the firm. His extensive financial and strategic expertise will be invaluable as Phio advances its clinical programs and strengthens its governance framework.
Mr. Deming joined the Phio Board of Directors in February 2025 and currently serves as a member of the Board’s Nominating Committee. His appointment as Lead Independent Director underscores the company’s continued focus on enhancing board leadership and strategic oversight as it progresses the development of innovative RNA-based cancer therapies using the INTASYL® platform.
