Accela - Breakthrough technology to increase laboratory productivity by Thermo Fisher
Thermo Fisher Scientific introduces two advanced solvent delivery systems, the Accela 600 HPLC and Accela 1000 U-HPLC. These state-of-the-art systems are designed to enhance laboratory efficiency by enabling rapid method development and reducing solvent consumption. The Accela systems feature Force Feedback Control (FFC) technology, ensuring precise gradients and the flexibility of quaternary solvent delivery.
The Accela 600, compatible with Thermo Scientific Hypersil columns packed with 5, 3, and the new 2.4 micron particle diameter, offers flow rates of up to 5 mL/min and a maximum operating pressure of 600 bar, with a delay volume of 90 µL. On the other hand, the Accela 1000 boasts a maximum operating pressure of 1000 bar and a delay volume of 65 µL.
Enhancing sample identification with increased sensitivity, the Accela PDA features an acquisition rate of up to 80 Hz. Its LightPipe technology utilizes a 1 cm path length in a 2 µL flow cell, enabling fast separations while maintaining peak shape and chromatographic resolution due to minimal dispersion.
For optimized performance with sub-2 µm particle columns, the Accela U-HPLC system offers superior capabilities.
