LGM Pharma Expands U.S. Manufacturing with $15 Million Investment across Texas and Colorado Sites

Introduction

LGM Pharma has announced a further expansion of its contract development and manufacturing operations in the United States, bringing its total investment across sites in Texas and Colorado to $15 million. The latest phase adds $9 million to ongoing upgrades, following an earlier $6 million investment in Rosenberg, Texas. The programme aims to increase production capacity, strengthen research and development capabilities, and support growing demand for U.S.-based pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Features

The expansion is focused on two key facilities:

Texas site: A $4 million upgrade is being made to increase commercial-scale manufacturing capacity for suppositories.

The improvements also enhance research and development capabilities for formulation and scale-up work covering suppositories, solutions, suspensions and semi-solid products.

The site is being upgraded while continuing normal operations, with earlier phase improvements already completed.

Colorado Springs site: A $5 million investment is being used to expand manufacturing capacity for niche oral solid dose (OSD) products, including orally disintegrating tablets.

The site, which supports OSD development work, is being strengthened to meet rising demand for domestic production of high-value pharmaceutical products.
