Catalent Initiates Construction of US$20 million Clinical Supply Facility in Germany

Catalent has initiated the construction of a new clinical supply facility in Schorndorf, Germany, with an investment of US$20 million.
Features:
This expansion project aims to augment the site's capabilities by adding an additional 32,000 square feet of space.
The new area will accommodate the handling and storage of clinical trial supply materials requiring controlled room temperatures ranging from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius.
Furthermore, the project will enable the rearrangement of the original plant to facilitate the installation of a new fully automated bottle-filling line.
Additionally, a dedicated section will be allocated for Catalent's FastChain demand-led supply service.
The construction work is scheduled to be completed by June 2024.
