ACG Invests $200 Million to Expand New Capsule Manufacturing Facility in Atlanta

Introduction:

ACG, one of the world’s leading providers of integrated solid-dosage solutions, has announced a $200 million phased investment to set up its first empty capsule manufacturing operations in the United States. 

Features:

The new Atlanta facility will manufacture both gelatin and vegetarian (HPMC) hard-shell capsules, meeting the highest global standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

This development strengthens ACG’s 25-year presence in North America and supports its Make it Better commitment to innovation and sustainable growth.

The first phase, worth $100 million, will support the construction of a modern hard-shell capsule facility in Atlanta, Georgia. 

The second phase, also valued at $100 million, will focus on expanding production capacity and technological capabilities. The project is expected to generate more than 200 new jobs.
Operations are expected to commence in early 2027.
