Transpire Bio Signs Exclusive Licensing Deal with Suzhou Intragrand Pharma for Investigational PDE4 Inhibitor

Transpire Bio Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in the United States and specialising in inhaled treatments for lung and systemic diseases, has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Suzhou Intragrand Pharma Co., Ltd. The deal covers ITG-1052, a novel phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor currently under investigation.
This agreement brings a new chemical entity into Transpire Bio’s pipeline of innovative inhaled therapies. The company plans to leverage its experience in developing inhaled medicines to advance ITG-1052, aiming to position it as a leading treatment for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and potentially other respiratory conditions.
Under the terms of the agreement, Transpire Bio receives exclusive global rights to develop, produce, and market ITG-1052, with China being the only exception. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Intragrand expressed confidence in Transpire Bio’s capability to take the product forward, highlighting the company’s strong background in inhaled drug development and commercialisation.
