Summit Therapeutics to Work with Pfizer on Clinical Trial Assessing Ivonescimab with Antibody Drug Conjugates

Summit Therapeutics Inc. has announced a clinical trial collaboration with Pfizer Inc. to assess ivonescimab, an investigational PD-1 / VEGF bispecific antibody, in combination with several of Pfizer’s antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) across multiple solid tumour types.
The collaboration aims to explore ivonescimab alongside Pfizer’s ADCs to advance treatment options for patients with significant unmet medical needs. Each study will assess ivonescimab with one of Pfizer’s vedotin ADCs in distinct solid tumour settings to evaluate safety and potential anti-tumour activity.
Summit will supply ivonescimab for the studies, while Pfizer will manage trial operations. Both companies will oversee the research together and retain rights to their respective products. The trials are expected to commence in the middle of this year, with further details to be shared later.
