Neowise Biotechnology Licences TCR Molecule to BeOne Medicines for Next-Generation Cell Therapy Development
Tuesday, June 10, 2025
Neowise Biotechnology, a company developing TCR-T cell therapies targeting solid tumours, has signed a non-exclusive licensing agreement with BeOne Medicines Ltd. Through this collaboration, BeOne will gain rights to use one of Neowise’s proprietary antigen-specific TCR molecules to advance its off-the-shelf, iPSC-based cell therapy products.
As part of the agreement, Neowise will receive an initial payment and may earn additional milestone payments based on the progress of development, regulatory approvals, and commercial outcomes. The company will also receive royalties on any future sales. BeOne will lead the development and commercialisation of its therapies using the licensed TCR.
This partnership enables Neowise to expand the use of its TCR technology into new areas and supports BeOne’s efforts in advancing next-generation allogeneic cell therapies. The collaboration is expected to strengthen both companies’ positions in the cell therapy field and contribute to the development of accessible cancer treatments.
