Medidata, a subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes specializing in clinical trial solutions for the life sciences industry, has recently announced the extension of its partnership with the PPD clinical research division of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.
This renewed agreement encompasses the provision of various Medidata products, including the Medidata Platform, Medidata Adjudicate, and other offerings tailored to support PPD's clinical research activities aimed at advancing drug development programs.
A significant aspect of this collaboration involves the further development of PPD TrueCast, a business solution that utilizes Medidata's AI capabilities. TrueCast is designed to streamline study timelines by integrating patient recruitment and site performance data to create predictive models and advanced analytics.
