INCOG BioPharma Announces $200 Million Investment to Expand Operations and Grow Workforce to Nearly 1,000

INCOG BioPharma Services has announced a further expansion with an investment of around $200 million in its injectable drug manufacturing plant in Fishers, Indiana. The investment will significantly increase the company’s capacity for injectable drug product manufacturing.

By 2030, INCOG expects its workforce at the Fishers campus to grow to nearly 1,000 employees. The expansion will create a large number of high-value jobs and strengthen the company’s position within Indiana’s life sciences sector.

The investment is supported by incentives from the State of Indiana and reflects continued demand from global biopharma customers, alongside INCOG’s delivery capabilities. The expansion is planned to begin in early 2026.

Once completed, the 21-acre campus will include around 300,000 square feet of purpose-built manufacturing space. The site is expected to operate as a major global hub for injectable biopharmaceutical production.

The project also reinforces INCOG BioPharma’s long-term partnership with the City of Fishers, keeping the company’s growth rooted in the region.

The funding will be used to add advanced manufacturing infrastructure, strengthening capabilities such as sterile fill and finish for injectable drugs, automated inspection, device assembly, labelling, serialisation, and final packaging. Following the expansion, the plant will be able to produce up to 480 million units per year, allowing INCOG to support a larger share of the growing global injectable medicines market.

In addition to the capital investment, INCOG continues to focus on workplace culture and talent development. The new roles will cover key areas including operations, engineering, quality, and administration, supporting the company’s long-term growth and manufacturing ambitions.
