Helix Enters Multi-Year Strategic Collaboration with GSK to Support Precision Medicine Research

Helix has entered into a multi-year strategic collaboration with GSK to support the development of precision medicine. Under the agreement, GSK will gain access to Helix’s expanding GenoSphere™ cohorts, which include deeply characterised genomic and clinical data across a wide range of disease areas.
The GenoSphere™ cohorts combine Exome+® genomic data with long-term clinical information. These datasets are further enriched with third-party medical, pharmacy and mortality claims data. The platform is designed to support life sciences research across the full drug development process and is powered by the Helix Research Network®, a large and rapidly growing precision health network.
Through this collaboration, GSK aims to strengthen the use of genetics and genomics in its research and development decision-making. Access to Helix’s data resources is expected to support a better understanding of disease biology and help advance the discovery, development and delivery of new medicines.
