Wednesday, May 28, 2025

Coherus BioSciences, Inc. has entered into a clinical collaboration with STORM Therapeutics, Ltd. to assess a new cancer treatment approach. The study will test the combination of STC-15, a METTL3 inhibitor, and LOQTORZI (toripalimab-tpzi), an advanced PD-1 inhibitor, in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), melanoma, and endometrial cancer.

The clinical trial includes a Phase 1b segment to study the safety and early signs of effectiveness of the combined treatment. This will be followed by a Phase 2 segment, which will involve expansion groups in the mentioned cancer types, enrolling up to 188 patients in the United States. The trial is registered under the identifier NCT06975293.

As part of the agreement, Coherus will supply LOQTORZI for the study, while STORM will act as the sponsor and oversee the clinical trial. Both companies will keep full commercial rights to their respective treatments, whether used individually or in combination.

This collaboration reflects Coherus’ strategy to explore new treatment options for LOQTORZI by combining it with innovative mechanisms and focusing on high-priority cancer types.
