Cellistic introduces Allo Chassis™: Ready-to-use immune-shielded iPSC cell lines for affordable cell therapy development

Tuesday, February 18, 2025

Cellistic, a specialist in iPSC-based off-the-shelf cell therapy development and manufacturing, has introduced Allo Chassis™—ready-to-use, immune-shielded iPSC cell lines derived from CD34+ and CD4+ T-cell primary cells. These advanced cell lines help reduce development time and costs, marking a significant step forward in cell line innovation. Developed following current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards, Allo Chassis™ benefits from Cellistic's expertise in iPSC technology, including T-cell-based treatments.

Cellistic aims to make cell therapy more accessible worldwide by using the advantages of iPSCs. The Allo Chassis™ cell lines support this goal by offering therapeutic developers a resource to speed up development while keeping costs manageable. With immune-shielded CD34+ and CD4+ T-cell-derived iPSC cell lines, this innovation helps accelerate the availability of therapies, improving patient access to essential treatments.

The Allo Chassis™ cell lines are available immediately and have been developed using Cellistic’s proprietary STAR-CRISPR™ gene editing technology. This gives partners access to advanced gene editing with a clear licensing pathway for commercial use. The cGMP Allo Chassis™ cell banks are produced using validated processes, strict quality control measures, and automated systems to ensure the delivery of high-quality, low-passage cell lines for therapeutic applications.

These cell lines feature commonly used gene modifications, including the deletion of HLA class I and II, making them adaptable for therapeutic development. Using STAR-CRISPR™ technology, they can be customised efficiently to create product-specific master cell banks at a lower cost.

By introducing the Allo Chassis™ CD34+ and CD4+ T-cell-derived immune-shielded cell banks, Cellistic strengthens its commitment to supporting therapeutic developers with integrated iPSC-based solutions for advanced cell therapy production.
