Alloy Therapeutics Partners with Biogen on Multi-Target ASO Platform Collaboration

Wednesday, April 08, 2026

Alloy Therapeutics Inc. has entered into a collaboration and licence agreement with Biogen Inc. to support the development of antisense therapeutics using its proprietary AntiClastic ASO platform.

Under the agreement, Biogen will apply the platform to multiple undisclosed targets, aiming to advance new therapies for complex diseases. Alloy will receive an upfront payment and remains eligible for milestone payments as well as tiered royalties on any resulting products.

The partnership combines Biogen’s expertise in developing innovative medicines with Alloy’s capabilities in antisense drug discovery. Alloy’s AntiClastic ASO platform is designed to improve the performance of antisense therapies by targeting disease at the RNA level within cells. It addresses long-standing challenges such as limited biodistribution and reduced efficacy, which have restricted the clinical potential of antisense drugs.

The agreement builds on the existing relationship between the two companies and supports the expansion of research strategies focused on novel therapeutic approaches.

Alloy continues to develop an integrated ecosystem of drug discovery platforms and is incorporating advanced technologies, including computational and AI-based tools, to support faster and more efficient development of new treatments.
