The Largest Global Life Sciences Supply Chain Event

Jake Brown, Commercial Director, LogiPharma

Jake Brown shares how LogiPharma has evolved into the global platform for transformative supply chain dialogue, driven by AI, sustainability, and patient-centric innovation. He highlights how sponsors are addressing volatility, enabling resilient networks, and collaborating to deliver smarter, more agile, and future-ready life sciences supply chains.

1. LogiPharma 2026 positions itself as a “global manifesto” for supply chain leaders. From your perspective, how has the event evolved to reflect this shift from traditional logistics discussions to transformative, future-focused dialogue?

The event has evolved at the same pace as the industry and the technology supporting the industry has evolved. Supply Chain and Logistics solutions today offer global monitoring and intervention at a level we could only dream about 10 years ago. The pace of the change and the willingness of the industry to be bold in implementing those changes is what make the event so fascinating today

2. As Commercial Lead, you sit at the intersection of industry demand and solution providers. What key themes or capabilities are sponsors prioritizing this year, particularly in response to cost volatility and global uncertainty?

Cost efficiency is always a driving factor in any supply chain, but the life sciences supply chain is unique in that we are dealing with life saving temperature sensitive products. The challenge to our solution providers is unique. If you were to frame it as a question, it would be along the lines of ‘how do you make our global supply chain cost efficient, sustainable and most of all, patient centric and safe’. It’s a complex proposition and one which our sponsors deliver some incredible solutions in. Key themes would be cost efficiency, volatility, sustainability and patient safety.

3. AI and digital transformation are redefining supply chain operations. How are sponsors at LogiPharma 2026 aligning their offerings to support intelligent, data-driven decision-making across the life sciences value chain?

We have such a variety of sponsors at LogiPharma, which makes it such a special event. The major global airlines, the freight forwarders, the temperature control specific companies and of course the AI solutions themselves. All our sponsors have to be able to offer a solution that is digitally advanced using the latest AI technology. The Life Sciences supply chain is where we are seeing some incredible technological breakthroughs, from manufacturing to the customer journey.

4. With rising tariffs and geopolitical pressures, supply chains are becoming more regionalised. How do you see sponsors addressing the balance between global scalability and local resilience?

Supply chains are a mixture of responding to global pressures, price rises and falls but at the same time having local knowledge, contacts and boots on the ground regionally, is critical to a healthy supply chain. Remaining agile and responsive is absolutely key to this.

5. Sustainability is no longer optional. What role are sponsors playing in advancing greener, more climate-resilient supply chain solutions, and how is this reflected in the event’s ecosystem?

In simple terms, every sponsor I work with is fully aware of the pressure on supply chains to make them climate resilient and are 100% committed to do so. Everything from recyclable packaging to packaging made from sheep’s wool is on display at LogiPharma. Balancing cost pressures with sustainable pressures is a new and interesting challenge for our supply chain.

6. Personalised therapies—such as cell and gene treatments—are placing new demands on logistics. How are sponsors innovating to support ultra-sensitive, patient-centric delivery models?

This is one of the most fascinating areas of the life sciences supply chain and our agenda. Essentially, this is a move from mass production to vein to vein model.  This requires exacting real time end to end tracking of single batch treatments. There is no room for error, and patient centricity is the driver here. It’s a constantly evolving landscape and one to look out for as new technologies emerge!

7. LogiPharma brings together over 2,500 leaders. What differentiates sponsor engagement at this event compared to other global supply chain conferences?

LogiPharma in Europe has grown into the global meeting place for the Life sciences supply chain. If you want to be part of this challenging and rewarding space you need to be there. We take great care with the event and ensure that both our sponsors and our manufacturers have good, meaningful and productive networking time throughout the show. Our sponsors show up with their most senior representatives, and the booth builds get more and more impressive every year. There is so much happening in the expo these days, so many different experiential activities – every sponsor knows to bring their A Game.

8. From your experience, what makes a sponsorship truly impactful at LogiPharma—beyond visibility—when it comes to building meaningful partnerships and driving ROI?

We are in a new venue this year, which offers us some really exciting branding opportunities – some of the LED branding we have on site will be really impactful. However beyond that, I would always advise my sponsors to spend the time reaching out to contacts pre-event, set up meetings using our networking tool, and of course engage in all the networking activities on site. Get stuck in! (as they say here..)

9. As the industry reaches what many call an “inflection point,” what emerging technologies or solutions are gaining the most traction among sponsors this year?

You can’t spend 5 minutes in a meeting these days without someone talking about AI – it’s the most pressing and urgent technology of our times. We have built a stage specifically for this called the AI Lab in the expo at LogiPharma this year to answer all these questions. This technology will especially help in the areas of demand forecasting and inventory planning – such an important element to the supply chain – supplier sourcing, manufacturing optimisation and compliance.

10.  Collaboration is critical in life sciences. How are sponsors leveraging LogiPharma as a platform to co-create solutions with pharma companies rather than just showcase products?

I always find it fascinating how many of our sponsors work together, collaborate on offering solutions together, and a lot have known each other for so long they have become friends. Airlines, trucks, shipping, containers, digital solutions, advisers – they all work together. It’s a totally interconnected industry – no sponsor can go it alone, and that is reflected in the atmosphere on site. It’s become the global annual meet up for this space.

11. In an era of increasing complexity, how are sponsors helping organisations move away from reactive supply chain management toward predictive and resilient network design?

AI is definitely helping here, as are more traditional demand and forecasting tools. Having an agile supply chain that can react to a very complex global picture is absolutely key.

12. From a sponsorship strategy standpoint, how has the profile of participating companies changed over the years—are you seeing more startups, tech disruptors, or non-traditional players entering the space?

We see both. We see the big brands like DHL, UPS and Fedex etc step up their involvement in the life sciences sector, but we also see some new and really exciting tech coming through. We have built a Start-up Village on site this year to cater for all the new companies emerging.

13. Looking ahead, what key trends or disruptions discussed at LogiPharma 2026 do you believe will have the most lasting impact on global health supply chains over the next 3–5 years?

RESILIENCE. How are you resilient and agile? In this complex and challenging global picture – how is your supply chain managing those risks? That will determine the conversation for the next few years.

14. Finally, for organisations considering participation in future editions, what advice would you give on maximising value from sponsorship at LogiPharma—both strategically and commercially?

The life sciences industry plays a long game – build your network, work hard at connections and come and talk to our wonderful team.
