Samantha Pearce
Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc has announced the promotion of Samantha Pearce, formerly Senior Vice President of Europe and International, to the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Joining Jazz in 2020 as SVP, Europe and International, Ms. Pearce brings over 30 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical sector. During her tenure, she has fostered a high-performance culture, successfully growing Jazz's commercial brands and maximizing the potential of its European and International business to provide transformative medicines to patients across more than 50 countries. As CCO, she will oversee the strategy and execution of Jazz's commercial operations in global markets, working from the U.S.

Prior to joining Jazz, Ms. Pearce held various general management roles at Celgene Corporation from March 2010 to December 2019, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of International Markets. She also served in commercial management positions at AstraZeneca plc from August 2002 to March 2010, culminating in her role as Director of Specialist Care. Earlier in her career, she worked at DuPont Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Pearce holds a B.Sc. from Birmingham University, U.K., and an M.B.A. from Cranfield University, U.K.
