Oliver P. Kronenberg
Santhera Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Dr. Oliver P. Kronenberg as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary.
As a member of the executive management team, Dr. Kronenberg will oversee the company’s legal strategy and global legal activities, encompassing transactions, corporate governance, and intellectual property matters. He succeeds Oliver Strub, who will transition to the newly created position of Head of Compliance, focusing on the development and management of Santhera’s compliance program.

"His extensive expertise in key legal areas within the life sciences industry will enhance our leadership capabilities, particularly in corporate governance and the market launch of pharmaceutical products. We also extend our deepest gratitude to Oliver Strub for his leadership of Santhera’s legal department since 2006 and look forward to his contributions as Head of Compliance."
Dr. Oliver P. Kronenberg is an experienced lawyer with over 25 years in the field, including more than 20 years in the international pharmaceutical sector. He has held various positions at Vifor Pharma and its parent company, Galenica, since 2008. In his role as Head of Legal and Compliance at Vifor Pharma, he established the legal, IP, and compliance departments. He was subsequently promoted to Group General Counsel of Galenica in 2013. After the Galenica Group split in April 2017, he returned to Vifor Pharma as Group General Counsel and became a member of the executive committee in 2022. Dr. Kronenberg has been supporting Santhera since April 2024 as interim General Counsel.

Dr. Kronenberg holds a doctorate in law from the University of Basel, an LL.M. degree from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, a degree in Finance for Executives from INSEAD, and an IMD Board Director Diploma.
